Just raced in my first outrigger races, EVER. I've raced in many crew regattas and done lots of other sports but the Na Poe O Ke Kai Sprints at Greenlake (hosted by Wakinikona) was my first time racing outriggers. LOVED IT!

Its my first day paddling with Hui Wa'a O Wakinikona, one of the outrigger paddling clubs here in Seattle. I've been wanting to start paddling outrigger for a LONG TIME! I rowed crew in and after college, I've been visiting Maui several times a year since 2006, and I've had the honor of participating in the annual in Canoe Journey since 2008. Its about time!
