It's a match made in Future-ish heaven, The Simpsons and Dwell Magazine.
It will come as no surprise that I've been a fan of The Simpsons for a long time, who hasn't? But, given that I'm a science, design, and culture geek, I'm especially fond of The Simpsons because it does a fantastic job of making us all a little smarter without us even knowing it. There are little bits of brain candy that pop up in episodes all the time. So, the fact that honoring great design, in this case architecture by Richard Neutra, popped up in a script made me do the Snoopy Suppertime Dance. Add to that that Dwell was front and center...I love, Love, LOVE it!!!
For details on how The Simpsons/Dwell connection came about, check out the article in the March 2013 issue of Dwell, The Simpsons Meet Dwell, in which Amanda Dameron interviews The Simpsons Executive Producer Matt Selman about the storyline.

Hex-watch: Hexagons at Heath
Decorative tiles have adorned public and private spaces for millenia so we are quite pleased with tile's latest incarnation. It is a match made in design heaven...Health ceramics and Dwell magazine recently launched Dwell Patterns, a line of tiles for the thoroughly modern home. The fact that hexagons are front and center is icing on the cake.
