Google celebrated the 200th birthday of Dr. Robert Bunsen. Referred to as "the most universally admired scientists of his generation" by Wikipedia, Bunsen invented an innovative battery and the Bunsen burner that has graced many a high school and university lab station around the world since its debut in 1855. Happy Birthday Mr. Bunsen and thank you Google for throwing such a great virtual party in his honor.
