Marcel Wanders is of one of the most famous contemporary Dutch industrial and furniture designers today. In fact, many feel he helped to revitalize Dutch design and brought it back to the world stage. Wanders first claim to design fame was the 1996 Knotted Chair for Droog Design. In 2000, Wanders became art designer and co-owner of a new design company called
Moooi.
