Haute Couture Technology

We love it when worlds collide and create something fabulous. Take for example, the cover of the March 9, 2013 issue of Science News, Made to Measure. The issue feature explores the state of 3D printing, which is also fabulous, but it is the fashion model striking a pose in the 3D haute couture on the cover that jumped out at us. Fashion (and everything else) forward indeed.

Check out the full article The touchy-feey (but totally Scientific) methods of Wallace J. Nichols by Michael Roberts. Congrats J!

Confluence - Weird scientists at Wired

Wired just published their "Best Unlikely Movie Scientists. It's quite a hoot. You'll find Marlon Brando, Jessica Alba and even one of our favorite muppets, Dr. Bensun Honeyew. I'm sure there are many more, but this is a pretty good shortlist.
