The first year of IxDA Awards contains a plethora of fresh, evolutionary ideas on everything from disruptive technology to new ways to connect with people. Voting is currently open for the People's Choice Awards and on that list are several ideas focusing on a topic near and dear to my heart ... using technology and design to find new ways to help kids learn and fun without necessarily sitting in front of a screen. Check out two fantastic entries:
Sound Noodle - A different way for kids to experience music through movement.
Tiblo - An open-ended interactive learning aid for kids with dyslexia.
